Business

Our Business Team coordinates and produces all the necessary materials to advance the club image and projects. Working with students, sponsors, and community members, the team equips the club with the right tools to grow. The Business Team works alongside the Engineering Team to promote, market, and find support for our projects

Business team responsibilities are structured in three interdependent groups with corresponding Leads: Events and Logistics, Media and Marketing, and Partnership and Finance.

Creative Explorations

While the Business Team has established funding objectives, brand guidelines, and logistical frameworks that maintain the entire club, there are several avenues for creative exploration and innovation.

Members frequently apply strategies and software learned in their classrooms to the Business Team. Business students incorporate models that streamline communications; event planners introduce new ways to expand our alumni network; and creatives are encouraged to design unique branded materials for the club.

Pseudo-Startup

The club operates like a pseudo startup, providing members with hands-on experiences involving real-world business practices. Within this structure, members are encouraged to work autonomously towards team goals, mirroring the dynamics of a real startup. By emulating a startup environment, the club offers valuable insights into the complexities of a professional career. Business team members will work to enhance and expand the club’s image by engaging in activities such as marketing, promotion, financial management, and building relationships with external organizations.

Business

Our Business Team coordinates and produces all the necessary materials to advance the club image and projects. Working with students, sponsors, and community members, the team equips the club with the right tools to grow. The Business Team works alongside the General Team, and is expected to participate at the same capacity and maintain a basic understanding of the project goals and timeline.

Business team responsibilities are structured in three interdependent groups with corresponding Leads: Events and Logistics, Media and Marketing, and Partnerships and Finance.

Pseudo-Startup

The club runs as a pseudo-startup: members are expected to work with considerable autonomy to reach team goals. The club structure provides members insight into the experiences of a real career setting, as Business Team members work to support a club image which functions beyond the bounds of just Business or Design.

Events and Logistics

The Events and Logistics team organizes social and professional events, increasing member and community engagement.

Members collaborate with alumni, industry members, and other clubs to diversify student learning and networking.

Partnership
and Finance

The Partnership and Finance team leads sponsorship outreach and manages club finances, working with both local and non-local businesses to source funds for the projects, as well as implementing controls on purchasing and practicing high bookkeeping standards.

Members gain networking and organizational skills as they strategically meet the club's financial objectives.

Members apply their diverse skillset in creative ways, ensuring effective communication of the club identity.
